Comrades, elected delegates of the 12th Congress and observers, comrades of the delegation of the Party, dear guests,

We welcome the 30 delegations of Communist Youth Organizations and Anti-imperialist Youth Organizations, which honor us with their presence at our 12th Congress.

Comrades and Friends,

We reach the congress with the confidence that as the youth of the KKE, with revolutionary optimism and vanguard action, ready to respond in the best possible way to the challenges of our time!

We have as a guide the contemporary, revolutionary Programme of the KKE, the resolutions of the 20th Congress, the conclusions of the study of the History of the Party, the resolution of the Pan-Hellenic Conference on the youth, the elaborations of the Party overall, which we must particularize when approaching the young men and women of the workers- popular forces.

Today we evaluate our action, we draw conclusions that are useful for our struggle, we set the tasks of KNE until the next , the 13th Congress. We further elaborate our tasks, which will be reflected also in the final resolution of the 12th Congress.

We completed a rich 4-month pre-congress process with the enrichment of the Theses of the CC with the rich experience first of all from the thousands of members of KNE, and also of the youngsters who got the Theses, they studied them and contributed in our discussion.

Comrades,

The main issues concerning our political guidance, the action of KNE in the upcoming period of time, were pointed out through the intervention of comrade General Secretary of the CC of the Party.

The Central Council assesses that the discussion was good, vivid and combative. With the awareness of the steps we need to take towards all our main goals for the complete strengthening of KNE, as the revolutionary Youth of KKE.

An effort was made in order for us to see the experience from the action of the Organization in all parts of youth, to assess the possibilities of intervention, not with embellishment but with the enthusiasm that can bear a positive step of the Organization concerning the increase of the rallying of forces, the construction of a new ΒaseΟrganization or a Sectoral Organization, the successful outcome of a battle within the today’s total, negative correlation.

We can address the difficulties in our work, especially in the guiding issues, in an essential way in the following period. We all agree that the requirement to respond to is big, first of all for the new CC.

The influence of the today’s complex situation within the consciousnesses of the young generation, the objective difficulties, constitute a demanding battle for the members and cadres of KNE, that requires mood of high contribution, study and special effort of assimilation of the Resolutions of the Party and KNE, of the collective experience.

COMENTARIO DE LA OFICINA DE PRENSA DEL CC DE LA KNE CON MOTIVO DE LA REPRESION DE LAS MOVILIZACIONES DE ALUMNOS EN FRANCIA

Las imágenes de la ciudad francesa de Mantes-la-Jolie que muestran a alumnos detenidos, incluso a niños de 12 años, después de una movilización, y arrodillados o con su cara enfrentando la pared y con las manos en la cabeza, rodeados de policías demasiado armados, como si fueran prisioneros en un campo de concentración, causan enojo y escalofrío.

Estas imágenes son el espejo de la UE, que supuestamente está "regresando a sus valores democráticos" y aun se vuelva peor. Marcan el verdadero rostro de la democracia burguesa, donde la libertad de toda la gente para al punto dónde comienza la libertad de los explotadores.

Estas imágenes son aún más indignantes cuando recordamos que en septiembre de 2017, el presidente francés Macron, cuyos mandatos están siendo ejecutados por la policía francesa, dio discursos con Alexis Tsipras sobre la democracia al fondo de la colina Pnyx, mientras que SYRIZA todavía lo presenta como un adversario contra el neoliberalismo y la extrema derecha en Europa.

El sistema de explotación podrido y sus instituciones interestatales, como la UE, garantizan la libertad y la democracia solo a unos pocos, mientras que para los trabajadores y los jóvenes solo se reservan la pobreza, el desempleo y la represión.”
