No to the imperialist war in Ukraine! Hands off the communists!

KNE denounces the arrest of the First Secretary of the Leninist Communist Youth Union of Ukraine, Mikhail Kononovich and his brother Aleksander, by the anti-people’s regime in Ukraine, and expresses serious concern about the allegations that the lives of the two communists are in danger.
In its statement, the Press Office of the CC of the KNE points out:
“We demand their immediate release!
We unite our voices with the millions of young people in more than 100 countries throughout the world, rallying around the member-organizations of the World Federation of Democratic Youth that fight against imperialist war and express their solidarity with the two Ukrainian communists, the members and friends of the Leninist Communist Youth Union of Ukraine and the Communist Party of Ukraine.

Another imperialist plan against Cuba and its people is ongoing during the past hours. The USA, in cooperation with anti-Cuban mafia operating on its territory as well as forces within Cuba openly supporting their plans, are orchestrating protests in Cuba with anti-communist and anti-revolutionary slogans calling for the overthrow of the government.
They also magnify and surround these actions with media hype through their enormous propaganda apparatus. They even call for an imperialist “humanitarian intervention” in Cuba, under the pretext of addressing the difficulties caused by the imperialist US blockade itself!

The subjects of the following videos are: Cuba of solidarity, the struggle of the health professionals in Greece against shortages in hospitals, the need for the people to be protected wherever they live or work but also the message of the KKE to the working class and the impoverished popular strata of the country. The KKE and KNE put their slogan “We stay strong, not silent!” into practice by utilizing plenty of audiovisual means.

The 30th anti-imperialist two-day camp of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) took place in Mitilini between 11 and 13 July 2021 and was attended by thousands of young people from all over the country, observing all necessary safety protocols to address the pandemic. Delegations from the Communist Party of Turkey and the Communist Youth of Turkey also participated in the camp.

On Friday, 17 September, on the occasion of the NATO Military Committee Conference in Athens, thousands of people denounced the new Greece–US Agreement on military bases and the overall dangerous policy that entangles Greece increasingly deeper into imperialist plans.
