An announcement by the Press Office of the CC of the KKE on the disastrous fires states the following:
“The KKE expresses its condolences to the families of the victims of the fires in the area ofNeaMakri and Rafina. It supports the dozens of injured people and thousands of people who saw their propertiesbe consumed by firein the fires that hit East and West Attica.

The decision of the government of Trump to inaugurate its new embassy in Jerusalem, a move that essentially recognizes Jerusalem as the “capital” of Israel, is something that foreshadows new negative developments at the expense of the Palestinian people as well as the other peoples of the region.
It seems that in the attempt of the murderers of the peoples to lure the youth in order to support the dangerous plans, is involved even... the “sinful” Eurovision song contest. How else can it be explained that the Israeli winner of the contest basically mentioned Jerusalem as the “capital” of Israel? While at the same time, even the president of Israel, B. Netanyahu, immediately repeated the “line” of the winner, a “line” that insults the Palestinian people!!!
We call upon the youth of our country to continue the support towards the just struggle of the Palestinian people and youth, that while they are asserting their own homeland they face the state-oriented violence, the murders and the imprisonments on behalf of the state-killer of Israel. We call upon the youth to strengthen the struggle against the dangerous policy of the SYRIZA-ANEL government, that reinforces the political and military cooperation with the state of Israel, and to demand the immediate recognition of the Palestinian state on the basis of the resolution of the Greek Parliament of December of 2015. Overall, we call for the strengthening of the people’s and youth's struggle against the imperialist wars and the plans of US-NATO-EU in our region
Hands off the Communist Youth of Turkey (TKG)

During the last period the repression against the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and the Communist Youth of Turkey (TKG) is intensified, with violent attacks, arrests of members, bullying and attempts of intimidation. The last incident was the one on 13/3/2018, when a group of fascists attacked members of TKG at the University of Istanbul, while they were campaigning in the frameworks of the two-month campaign against NATO. Afterwards, the coward fascists falsely reported to the police that they were attacked and filed lawsuits, which led to the arrest of 22 members of TKG and charges were pressed against the organization. This incident is one more that is added to a series of attacks that TKP and TKG systematically receive.
Message of Congratulations of KNE towards EDON For the results of the elections of the EFEK (National Students Union of Cypriots) of Athens

We convey our congratulations to Proodeftiki Students Movement that achieved for a 2nd consecutive year the first position in the elections of the EFEK of Athens. This result, which is really important, can form the base in order to strengthen our common struggles for the right to education, work and life of the youth, in order to strengthen the struggle against the imperialist war and fascism.
Once more, we express our solidarity with the Cypriot people and youth, in their struggle to achieve a united homeland without foreign protectors and oppressors.

Manos fuera de la Juventud Comunista de Turquía – TKG

Los últimos días la represión contra el Partido Comunista de Turquía (TKP) y la Juventud Comunista de Turquía (TKG) aumenta, con asaltos frecuentes y violentos, detenciones de miembros, persecuciones e intimidación. Último fue el incidente el de 13/3/2018, de la agresión de un grupo de fascistas contra miembros de la TKG en la Universidad de Estambul, durante los segundos informaron en el contexto de la campaña de dos meses en contra del OTAN. Luego, los fascistas cobardes denunciaron falsamente a la policía que habían estado atacados y presentaron pleitos que resultaron a la detención de 22 miembros de la TKG y la policía presentó cargos contra ellos. Este hecho forma parte de una serie de ataques repetidos contra el TKP y la TKG.
