Joint Statement:Against the imperialist war!

With this resolution, we express our solidarity with the peoples who suffer under imperialist interventions, and with all those who are struggling against the imperialist wars waged or supported by their countries.

The competition among capitalists for control over mineral wealth, energy resources, means of production, and the routes for transporting energy and goods—as well as for securing geopolitical footholds and shares of the markets—has triggered two regional imperialist wars and more than 56 active armed conflicts around the globe. Behind these confrontations lies the rivalry between the USA and the Euro-Atlantic alliance on one side, and China along with the emerging Eurasian bloc of powers on the other, for supremacy in the international imperialist system.

We denounce the European Union’s orientation toward war economy, which signals preparation for a generalized imperialist war and provides an outlet for the overaccumulated capital of its monopolies.

We intensify our struggle against repression and terror, which are employed by bourgeois governments against peoples who dare to rise up. We reject the falsification of history and the effort to poison the youth with fascist venom.

We highlight the danger of further escalation, including the use of more advanced and deadly weapons systems against the peoples.

History has shown, and today it is once again confirmed, that every war conducted on the terrain of capitalism, by bourgeois classes, is an unjust war. In all such wars, it is always the people who pay the price. The peoples have nothing to expect from either imperialist pole, nor from the current or future imperialist alliances. Only the peoples themselves, by trusting their own strength and with the communists in the vanguard, can put an end to wars—by overthrowing the capitalist system itself, which gives birth to imperialist wars.

We express our clear and unwavering solidarity:

• With the peoples of Ukraine and Russia, who today are being slaughtered by the imperialists' cannons, mourning hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded. These are two peoples who lived fraternally for seven decades in the USSR, building the new socialist society, and who are now being sacrificed on the altar of the interests of the Russian and Ukrainian bourgeois classes and their allies.

• With the Palestinian people, who endure the long-standing Israeli occupation, and with the other peoples of the Middle East suffering under Israeli aggression.

• With the peoples of India and Pakistan, who once again fall victim to the competition between two capitalist states over the mineral and water resources of Kashmir and its strategically significant location.

• With all peoples resisting imperialist aggression.

We call for the escalation of the struggle against imperialist war!

• We support the peoples’ fight to close foreign military bases in our countries—first and foremost those of the USA and NATO.

• We oppose the deployment of troops and weapons to the war fronts and the involvement of our countries in imperialist conflicts!

We fight against the bourgeois classes of our countries and the various imperialist alliances, for the construction of the new socialist-communist society, which will mark the end of exploitation and war.

We call for escalation of the struggle against imperialist war!

- We support the struggle of the peoples for the closure of foreign military bases in our countries, first and foremost those of the US and NATO.

- We oppose the sending of troops and weapons to war fronts and the participation of our countries in imperialist conflicts!

We fight against the bourgeois classes of our countries and the various imperialist alliances for the building of a new socialist-communist society, which will also mean the end of exploitation and wars.
