In a statement the Press Office of the CC of KNE on the occasion of the new audio document from the crime in Tempe notes:
"No tolerance to the policy that does not let us breathe!
The new audio document from the crime in Tempe refutes (again) the attempted cover-up by the state, the company and the government. It confirms that many of the victims survived the crash and suffered a horrific death from the explosions and fire that followed.
The KKE in the Parliamentary Investigation Committee had demanded that the causes of the explosion and those responsible for the unacceptable alteration to the crime scene before the necessary evidence could be collected be investigated. On the responsibility of the government, this request was rejected.
In the face of the cover-up of the real causes and the impunity of those responsible, the people and the youth with their magnificent mobilizations have proven that they do not forget and do not forgive! We continue the struggle, so that there will be no more crimes like in Tempe, for justice to be done, to condemn the policy of profit supported by the state, governments and the European Union, sacrificing the lives and rights of workers and youth.
The cry of the passengers "I can't breathe " becomes the voice of thousands of young people suffocating in the dead-ends of the exploitative system and fighting for its overthrow".
