The newspaper Rizospastis, the organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece, has published the Theses of the Central Committee for the 22nd Congress.
These include the Party’s assessments of developments in the world and the country, as well as a review of the Party’s activities and political tasks for the period leading up to the 23rd Congress.
A year ago, entering the final stretch for the 22nd Congress, the Central Committee of the KKE circulated its Resolutions to the Party for discussion. These resolutions covered the following topics:
These Resolutions were the subject of rich discussion within the Party and KNE, and more broadly within the Greek society, leading to critical assessments and conclusions. The Theses of the Central Committee of the KKE for the 22nd Congress summarize and incorporate the substantial discussion that preceded them. Through the pre-Congress discussion and the work of the Congress itself, the Party is expected to take another big and solid step in developing all its contemporary revolutionary characteristics.
Discussion on the Theses will follow in the guiding organs and organizations of the Party and KNE, as well as in the public pre-Congress discussion through Rizospastis and the Communist Review (KOMEP).
The members and friends of the KKE and KNE throughout Greece and abroad have, of course, organized campaigns to disseminate the Theses.
